What are the conditions underwhich images are trailed? I’ve mostly taken images with PROMPT 4 and most are trailed. I don’t seem to see a strong correlation (as I’d expect from telescope tracking error) with length of exposure, though I haven’t looked exhaustively at this (for example, 40 s, 60 s and 80 s exposures seem roughly trailed to the same extent).

Why Jobs Remain in the Queue
Is there some way to see what caused a night’s observations to terminate? I’m watching a block of my jobs from Feb 22 that should reach the telescope early in the morning each night, but don’t (as of Feb 26). Could there be some way to enter into the log if clouds terminate the use of some telescope? Or do jobs that have been waiting for some nights get notched to a lower priority? Would I be better off to resubmit a job that doesn’t run after a couple of nights?
Job Listing in Skynet “Observations”
Instead of renumbering the blocks of 10 recent jobs starting with “1″ why not reverse the order? This way paging back through jobs to find an old job would be easier since you could look in, say, block 91 to find job 913.
I Filter on Prompt4
An 80 second image on Prompt 4 (I filter) showed concentric rings and troughs in the background. They appeared to
surround the max brighness portion of the unflattened field. What is this? Prompt1 was the source of the above image.
Postscript: in fact this pattern somewhat resembles Munch’s The Scream, which I find a tad disconcerting.
